Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. What this covers

This policy applies to digital products sold by Devlar Technologies — downloadable source code and similar digital content, purchased one time through our website.

It does not cover advisory or consulting engagements, which are governed by the individual engagement agreement and by our Terms of Service.

2. Who you are buying from

Our digital products are sold through Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and tax, and processes refunds on our instruction. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

3. Your statutory rights as a consumer

This section applies if you buy as a consumer, meaning wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland) or the equivalent mandatory law of your country of residence.

3.1 Right of withdrawal, and when it does not apply

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Because our digital products are supplied immediately on purchase, you are asked at checkout to consent expressly to that immediate supply and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

If you gave that consent, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. If you did not, you may withdraw within 14 days by emailing info@devlar.io.

3.2 Rights that survive regardless

Waiving the right of withdrawal does not waive your right to a product that conforms to the contract. If the digital content is faulty, does not match its description, or does not do what we said it does, you remain entitled to a remedy under consumer law — repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, as applicable.

In practice: if it does not work, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.

4. Business purchases

If you buy in the course of a business, the statutory consumer right of withdrawal in section 3.1 does not apply. Section 5 below applies instead, as a matter of our own policy rather than statute.

5. Our own refund policy

Beyond anything required by law, we will refund a digital product purchase in full, within 14 days of purchase, where:

  • the product does not work as described, and we cannot put it right within a reasonable time;
  • you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
  • you never received access to what you paid for.

Because source code cannot be returned once downloaded, we may decline a refund where the request is outside 14 days, or where there is clear evidence the product was obtained in order to copy or redistribute it. We will not decline a refund merely because you have downloaded the files — you have to download them to evaluate them.

If you simply changed your mind, ask us. We would rather refund you than have an unhappy customer, and we say so here so you do not have to guess.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@devlar.io with your order or receipt reference and a sentence on what went wrong. You do not need a form or an account.

  • We aim to respond within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
  • Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5–10 business days to show the funds.
